How Gendemy uses cookies and browser storage technologies to keep your account secure and provide essential SaaS features.

1. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. In modern web applications, related storage technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and secure hardware storage (e.g. Android Keystore on mobile) are also used to remember your active session, preserve your institute branding, and ensure authenticated requests cannot be forged.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

Essential for you to log in, navigate between dashboard tabs, and submit attendance or fee actions securely. These cannot be turned off as the SaaS platform cannot function without them.

Preference & Functionality Cookies

Used to remember your selected theme (dark or light mode), your active branch selection, and table column visibility so you don't have to reconfigure them each time you sign in.

4. No Third-Party Ad Trackers

Gendemy does not install third-party tracking pixels, cross-site advertising cookies (such as Meta Pixel or Google Ads retargeting tags), or behavioral profiling trackers on your institute dashboard. Your student and operational data is never monetized or fed into commercial advertising databases.

5. Managing Your Preferences

You can configure your browser to reject cookies or alert you when a cookie is placed. However, because our cookies are strictly functional and security-oriented, disabling all cookies will prevent you from signing into your dashboard.
